COVID RESTRICTIONS
We have all been looking at the new safety regulation for Covid to see how it might work for our business. Firstly, the farm market will be open normal Winter Hours: Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 3pm. I was checking yesterday afternoon and it was pretty dark at 4pm, although we may be still be about the farm if you needed to come later. We request that customers maintain social distancing and wear a mask. We have masks available in a package by the cash register, so please help yourself if you need a mask.
So far as produce is concerned, kindly let us know if you need to order additional produce and we can arrange that for you. We also support the Nanaimo On-line Market, so you can reach us there, with pick-up Wednesday afternoon at Beban Park.
For the gardeners amongst you, we are already seeding for production of early spring transplants. These are largely our own heritage, certified organic seed, which we will have available in the new year. Much of the seedlings are easy to grow and cold weather tolerant.
Also, we will have berry transplants, Fava Beans, and Fruit Trees. Please let us know if you wish any of these items.
Sincerely,
Barbara Ebell
